There is a nice campground about 15 miles south of the state line in Elkmont Alabama. The web site is millcreekrv.com. The name is Mill Creek Park, 28861 Vetco Road. They have full hook ups as well as pull throughs. RV Park reviews says the rates are $13 - $24.

Elkmont x2. We have stayed there several times and found it to be a good park. It is a Passport America park I believe and it is about 10 miles or less from the Tennessee/Alabama line. No frills but it is very quiet.

If you are a retired military person, Redstone Arsenal has a nice, new RV park. Joe Wheeler State Park in Decatur is also highly recommended if you're a civilian. Both are just minutes from I-65, and near the TN/AL border.
