I may have not generated the perception that I wanted with my original post. I started the Cat RV Yahoo group on March 2004 in Albuquerque when the FMACA Cat club was formed and we are charter members. I am in full agreement with the the new site, format and agreed to locking down the yahoo group. I failed to changed my signature line here and it was directing folks to the yahoo group which then required you to use the links section to redirect you to the new site. Since the original post I have changed the signature line on RV.NET
The site has been redone and has received mixed reviews. This happens with all changes to things we are familiar with. The new site is able to post things in a logical sequence that make it easy to search for a previous answer. Here are the improvements
• Subject-specific organization—if you have a question about your cooling system, you don’t have to wade through 50 posts on other topics to find what you are looking for.
• Ability to edit your own post—no more links that don’t work and can’t be corrected.
• Enhanced ability to post photos.
• All posts from the Yahoo site have been migrated to the new site.
Given the fact that one can search for a specific answer to a specific system or area of interest the number of repetitive post are down which among other things I fell is an improvement.
So try the the site as listed in my signature and be sure and DONATE THAT OLD CELL PHONE TO SUPPORT SOLDIERS

They moved to a new host and redid the site. It is now so screwed up I no longer bother going there.

Executive and cottontop, I tried both of your suggestions and still I can't connect to the catrvclub site. If the site is up and working then I have some computer problem going on. Thanks for the replies

Well I can get to the old site, but the new one will simply not open. Who knows what lurks in the minds of the computers!

There has been a problem in the last few days in accessing many sites from Verizon-- that includes the Caterpillar RV Engine Owners Club Technical Website and the Freightliner Chassis Owners Club Website.
Lots of e-mails between webmasters and Verizon-- my understanding (past my pay grade) is that it has been resolved.
BTW, I have had zero problems accessing the site, but am not using Verizon.
Please let me know if you are continuing to experience issues and I will forward them to our webmaster (may be a little delay-- we are on the road).

Brett - the problem is not yet resolved - Steve just checked. No new news on the ticket he opened with the hosting company.
