Hi all,
Trying to find a solution to my pets breaking out the lower screen on the screen door. They lean and claw on the screen till it pulls the rubber spline out of the track. The hardware stores have decorative alm but only in 24" x 30" and up. My max is 24" x 24". I could start modifying one of these but I am hoping that someone has a simpler solution.

On our 5th wheel we had a aluminum panel in the bottom half of the screen door.

Thanks for the replys. I would like to stay with something perforated for air flow. I'll check out the camping world item.

I saw something made from expanded metal that one could pop rivet in place that another used for their RV's door. Maybe check a hardware store so they can cut it to order.

X2, a buddy of mine put clear Plexiglas on the bottom of his screen door to keep his four legged family from breaking out the screen. A couple of years and it is still working.

I bought some decorative perforated aluminum sheet from a hardware store and and cut it to size with tin snips. Used a self tapping metal screw in each corner to hold it in place.

Take a look in the building materials section of your local Home Depot. They have sheets of aluminum with a diamond pattern that's used by contractors when they install bathtubs and shower enclosures. A pair of tin snips and you can cut it to whatever size you need. Four washers and screws and you're set.....Dennis
