Most private RV parks and even a few state and municipal parks have WiFi.

Without knowing what you prefer or why you dont want to use your phone, Verizon Mifi 4510 is another option but a little expensive.

It works like a phone but the Mifi 4510 is a standalone device that runs off a rechargeable battery and serves as a hotstop/wifi device. You just connect to it like any other wifi.

All you need is a Wifi enabled PC and the Mifi 4510 - no wires - just connect by wifi.

I was born in Great Falls, Mt. My parents moved when I was 5. I found them when I was 10 - they were in California.

Verizon Mi-Fi hotspot. Different plans depending on usage. Used it for a couple of years all over the USA.

Thanks i'll be in a NP,No wifi,We have Consumer Cellular & we don't talk much on are phones & we are happy with the plan.

If they have Verizon you then MiFi is an option. No park WiFi needed - your MiFi is the WiFi souce. We have 2 laptops and wireless printer that we use.

Just because you can talk on your phone doesn't automatically mean that data services will also be available, although this is usually the case. The FAQ below is from Verizon's website.

Regarding using your phone to get internet.. Many smart phones can run an application that does indeed turn them into mobile "Hot Spots" Most cellular carriers "Discourage" the use of these apps but hey... I'm all for them..

That said I don't have a smart phone, when I need to pay my own way instead of guesting on park Wi-Fi I buy a 20 dollar virgin (mobile broadband to go card).

They also come in 10 and 50 dollar sizes.

But mostly.. I use the park's wi-fi.

Nothin adds excitment like something that is none of your business

Another vote for Verizon MiFi. $60/mo and I've been able to use it everywhere from VA to Key West over the past two months. Only complaint is it's battery does not last too long when I'm not connected to shore power.
