Hyundai is a South Korean brand. Are you sure it is Chinese made?

If Hyundai wants to make generators, he doesn't need the chinease, that's for sure!
Just a little bit of history, for all of you. Did you know when and how Hyundai started in business?
During the Korean war. He would steal parts during the night from american war vehicles and re-sell them to the military at gold price.
Hyundai is not only a vehicle maker, it also has a massive grip on the Asian steel market building ships and even floating sea ports.

My only concern is anemia, 900 watts is not a lot of power, In fact my converter can demand more than that (it likes a full KW) I also am not all that thrilled with the make.

but the spec sheet don't look bad. I mean if someone gave me one I'd not toss it in the trash.

So go ahead and buy it, if you find you don't like it, Give it to me.

Hi All.

If you think it will meet your needs, why not ?. Just be aware that its not a whole lot of power.

Be sure to see what you RV's Converter/Charger is rated for. Also if not enought, will it powwer up a protable Battery Charger.

You have to look at it this way. The price is cheap enough. If it lasts, you come ahead, if it drops dead, your out the money that you could have put towards a much better Generator.

Its your money and your choice. Myself, I would save up and buy something that has a well proven track record, and lots of places for repairs if you can't do them yourself. What is the "Parts Support" like ?. Can you even get parts for it ? All things to concider.

We saved, and bought good Generators as you can see in our Signature. Buy what you need only one time, and be done with it/ We have had our Twins for a little over 8 years now, and not so much as one problem.

You also have to really look at how are you going to really use your Generator ? What ever you do buy, you want to be able to count on it, out in the middle of no where.

Most times, you do get what you paid for. Good Luck. Happy Travels. Dan & Jill

Just got back after one week camping with our new Champion 2000i inverter (the red one) from Costco ($489.00). Very quite in the eco mode, ran everything except AC and sometimes microwave. Almost as quite as a Honda that was next to us. The Honda and the champion sound more like a purr than a roar. We were very pleased with the Champion. The good thing about buying from Costco if you don't like it you can take it back. Used about 3 gallons of fuel. I would not want anything smaller than 1600 watts.....

I remember reading a story once about an octogenarian discussing her most prized possessions with a researcher. She shows the researcher an iron that’s been going for over 40 years and explains how she had to scrimp and save to buy the product and how it ended up out living even her husband. Quizzed on why she spent so much money on the iron she said “I’m too poor to buy cheap!”

Too poor to buy cheap. That simple phase really resonated with me and has stuck with me ever since.

Cheap is quick. Cheap is dirty. Cheap is disposable.

Cheap breaks.

Cheap costs money. It costs money to fix, it costs money to replace.

Cheap seems like a good idea at the time but cheap fails when you most need it.

Cheap is flimsy and unsatisfying.

Cheap is inefficient.

Cheap gets in your way.

Cheap costs you time and it costs you customers.

Cheap always cost you more in the end. That’s why I can’t afford to buy cheap. Can you?

Before we got solar I wanted a small inverter to pair up with our Champion for when we just needed charging. This genny would be idea if it proves to be quiet and reliable. I'd keep a open mind until some reviews come in.

I have that exact generator. I have had it for about 4 months.

It is not that loud(especially on econo mode or whatever its called), though I have no generator to compare it to. I started yesterday (after sitting for 2 months) on the second pull. It actually has never been that hard to start.

I hooked up to my trailer and was able to power the fridge, TV and the fan. Perfect for me.

Any specific questions just ask.
