I was at the Ford dealers 2 weeks ago and he had 3 F150 HD setting on the lot, all standard cab 4X4 EB. Remember, this is ranch and oil country, NOT soccer mommy country and 90% of the trucks sold here are 4X4 work trucks. The F150 EB has been accepted here very well and the dealers are ordering them. Knowing they are going to be used hard on ranches and oil leases, they are equipped accordingly. The F150 crew cab 4X4 EB XLT can be had all day long for under $30K and to think he could get $28 for a std cab work truck, is ludicrous. If you're actually interested, get about 60-80 miles away from the soccer mommy areas and then start pricing a work truck, the price will fall dramatically.
