I am the new owner of a 2012, 5th wheel, Koala 30SS Superlite from Skyline Trailers (Skylinecorp.com). I have been reading on the site for over 3 months and still have to read anything good or bad about these rigs.
Am I the lone owner out there?
Any comment on these trailers appreciated, thanks, Dan

We had a 1996 Skyline Nomad TT that we sold to a friend in 2005. We were pleased with it and it's still going strong for our friends.

Mikka1,
I owned a Skyline Funtime RV from 1988 - 2008! It was a great RV and had only one problem with it after warranty went out and A man name Baker from Skyline replaced the refrig if I paid for shipping! It wasn't the top of the line, probably a entry level and it went all over the U. S. and I had No problems with it for over 20 yrs! Go with confidence and don't look back! You have a good RV.

We still have ours. Got it 4 years ago and it still does great. We've towed it about 20,000 miles now. Nothing fallen off, nothing broken.

Skyline is probably one of the oldest RV makers out there. A google on Skylie shows their history.
My first 5th wheel trailer was a new 26' 1984 Aljo by Skyline. Great little unit for the price. We used it for eight years and even double towed a 3500 lb boat behind it all those years.

Hii I live in Australia & am contemplating importing a30 ss . I am interested to get an owners opinion on one . They look great on paper & in the photos on the net. I have been searching the net for a few months for anything I can on them & everything is either a dealer of manufacturer. What's the head height/access like in the bedroom & could you possible send me any photos of the chassis/ hictch & or axle mountings. I have been to the US a few times & in general your roads are a lot better than here & I have heard that the chassis in the us built units are a lighter than we generally have here.

We Purchased Our New Koala 30SS 5th Wheel in August 2012, due to our travel trailer being totaled out in a storm August 29th.
We love it and the construction is the best I have seen on the market.

We also have a koala 30ss, and love it. it is built sound. the only issue I have is the step up to the side of the bed. it is high and a long way down if you exit the bed at the foot near the bathroom door. I have added a smaller step to both sides of the bed.
