We did considered looking at the Pop Up's with the Shower, and decided against it due to moisture concerns.....maybe the concerns are unwarranted, but we've seen some with mold, and it wasn't pretty.

I am curious about something. For those who don't have an inside shower and don't always camp at CG's with showers, how do you stay clean when camping for a week or more? Sponge baths and wet wipes?
Also for those with outside showers, does the CG let you drain your waste soapy water on the ground or do you collect it in a tote and pack it off to the dump site? What if it is very cold outside, do you still shower?
To each there own but I will say this The shower and toilet in my pup is very well used id guess around 300 showers in it so far and NOOOOOO mold or mildew what so ever in it. As for it taking up space dont forget your average pup is 8', 10', 12' and low walled. Most pups with hard walled shower/toilet combos are 14' and 16' highwall boxes with much more room than your average pup. I have owned both and the highwall has more storage and floor space than the average low wall. my 2 cents

Sushidog, I've never had a problem using biodegradable soap for the outside shower. We haven't used it as a full shower, just hands & feet. I haven't taken the family dry camping for more than a weekend, but I did a trip of just guys to Colorado to a remote camping area. I ended up driving over to the RV campground and paid to use the showers. That worked.
Now, though, I just bought a PUP last weekend that has it all included, because of the women and children in my little clan, and night-time activities. The shower, I don't think we'll use too much, but the potty will get worked over.
I would not be without a potty anymore. The shower is just "bonus". It IS a hardwall version from Fleetwood, which I like out of any of the configurations available in PUPs.
We intentionally chose NOT to have the toilet or shower in our pop-up. The shower and toilet takes up a lot of room, both in terms of storage space an floor space when setup. Since I also cook inside the trailer, I don't want to cross contaminate.
When we are dry camping, we take sponge baths if it's for more than a weekend. We're good for a weekend trip without. I have a portable toilet with it's own supply/waste holding tanks that is trasported in the back of the truck. A tarp, rope, and trees gives you a better bathroom with more privacy and better odor control than inside a trailer. Often we use baby wipes for a quick refresh before bed and that works dry camping or with full hookups.
Of course, at a CG we use their facilities. My kids are older (7 & 10) and we all make a pre-bed trip to the restroom. We're good until the sun shines on us agian.
As for the outside shower, it usually only gets used to rinse off feet/legs when necessary. We let that water the grass next to the site. I've never used it for a full shower and don't intend to.
