They do make a 15in E tire made in USA i can not remember who makes it. Someone chim in please, want to replace my D size tire on 5th.

If you are looking for ST tires....Maxxis makes a load range E tire..
Not US made. (Taiwan)but a good tire none the less.
Good reputation here on the Forum. Mine have been excellent.

Maxxis is the only TT tire I will use.

I have had great luck with Maxxis. Load Range E and they are actually made in Thailand.

That's the problem, ST tires for the most part, are not manufactured here in the USA. After getting 3 years out of our stock ST tires, we purchased Maxxis ST tires and have been very satisfied with their performance thus far.

Maxxis gets my vote also. I run 205 75R 15 C on my 8000 lb. trailer and average over 40,000 miles per set. It's the ONLY brand I'll use.

The benifit of the E tire over the D tire is those higher pressure numbers , 80 psi max pressures.
Your trailers wheels need to be rated for 80 psi to gain those benifits. That may require new trailer wheels.
Thats why many folks go ahead and upgrade to the 16" LT E tire and wheels on heavier trailers.

I was firmly in the Maxxis camp until I found out that Carlisle, of all brands, has come out with a newly designed tire specifically designed to handle the heat here in the SW, so I'm gambling on a set of them. They are E-rated with a whopping R speed rating (106 mph), so they =should= easily handle the heat here in AZ. FWIW, I was/am a Chinese-made critic, but I did get 6 years out of my last set of Greenballs, though total mileage was < 4,000. We'll see. FWIW, I do keep my tires covered as much as possible and store the FW on stacked redwood 2x6's. As soon as I can find a local supplier of Aerospace 303 Protectant, I'll be liberally using that, too.
