I am looking at a campground but all of the sites are listed as 50A. My new trailer is 30A, I have never run into this before. I have an adapter for my cord to plug into a standard outlet at home but is there something I need if I am going to plug in at this campground?
Wow I feel like a total rookie again. I tried searching and all I found were threads about reducing a 50A rv to 30A service never the other way around.

Never seen a pole with a 50A receptacle only. Are you sure they don't have 20/30 also on the poles?

I would bet that they have 30 as well. Their ad is just letting us know that the sites will accomodate up to the 50 amp vehicles.

I would imagine being that it is a state park that they would not make the entire campground 50 only.

I don't know to be honest. Was going to reserve online and it only lists 50amp.
It would make more sense if it had both as you suggested. guess I will just have to give them a call.
In the event that all they have is 50 is there an adapter?

I visited my father-in-law at a full-timer park in Texas - the site had 50 amp ONLY. Luckily my father-in-law had an adapter for me to borrow. So it does happen - what a pain.

We have a campground locally that only has the 50 amp service. They have adapters they will let you "borrow" if you need one. I would call ahead and see if they do the same. I have priced the adapters and the one I found cost $22.00.

There is a state park in my area that is 50 amp only, so yes they do exist. Adapters are easy to find, Wally World, Camping World, RV Stores. Get one, you may need it some day. I have had instances where the 30 amp was broken so I used the 50 amp with my adapter.

We have a CG in E. Wa. that's only 50A at some of it's sites. They will also lend you an adapter if you don't have one but, you really should carry one.

Walmart has the 50 amp adapters. You should carry a 20 amp and 50 amp adapter with you when traveling.
