We have been wintering since 2001 in Az. I turn off the water everytime we leave. I still get jokes from my neighbors at times but why not be smart instead of lazy. I will someday get the last laugh. the quote "that is what we have insurance for" doesn't work for me.

the gray water thing is simple. it just a case of the senors in the tanks not reading correctly, as many here will back me on this, sensors never read correctly.
Quote: Some rigs have a "Fresh water fill" valve. This is used to fill the freshwater tank when hooked to city water. My valve is near the water pump. If left "ON", it could/would create the situation you described. Check to see if you have that valve.
We have a valve that we open or close when hooked up to city water which when open fills the fresh water tank. That would be my guess, but like all the other posts, it is just a guess!
