wa8yxm covered all the basis.

My bet is sometime in the past the AC ran on low voltage heating up the wiring causing a restive connection now even with good power you have a bad connection somewhere in the AC line.

I want to thank everyone for the comments......While looking at the breaker post(from a suggestion by a friend) the post had corrosion on it....I cleaned the post off and it has run cool for a few hours( I hope that was it).....You know something so simple can cause a not so simple issue......
