Hi -

DW and I just purchased a 2007 Lance 805 for weekend trips to the lake so we can also pull our boat without taking our 31 foot KZ Spree.

The Lance came without a battery, inside the battery box there are two little style eye hooks, is this where you tie down the battery?

I dont know what holds the battery down. If these two little type eye hooks are what holds it from moving what type of strap do I need and where do I buy one at?

Thanks

Tim

It's just a simple nylon strap that holds the battery in place that hooks into the hold downs

Tim W... I just looked at the battery hold down strap on our Lance. The strap is black nylon one inch wide and aprox 24 inches long and has plastic clip/snap together buckles on each end. Both buckles are adjustable to take in or let out the strap length. These appear to be the same type straps found on computer bags and luggage.

Mine looks like ir is pop riveted to the back wall where you see those two "hooks. If you do this make sure you put backing on the reverse side of the wall.
