There are two campgrounds at Point South that I'm aware of. See RV Park Reviews for more current info. I've stayed at the Oaks 7 or 8 years ago when they were a Passport America park. Once for two days while working in the area and the other for an overnight. I'm just not a KOA fan.
The Oaks at Point South is OK for one night. I wouldn't stay much longer. The sites are long level pull thrus. Lots of trees but none that should scrape. I remember a tight turn at the end if you're towing. Might wait to hook up toad by the office. You most likely won't get satellite TV (too many trees). They do have cable TV but I would check on how many channels. Some parks only have basic. Verizon should work there. There aren't many options in that area. This is your best bet in my opinion.

We stored our RV there while at a time share in Hilton Head. We were not that impressed with the campground. A little run down. Not much in the area to do either unless you make the drive to HHI. Great for storage at $1.00 per day.
