I think that whatmajiger works better. The do thingy does pretty well too.

My Honeywell generator came with one from the factory. I wonder why the great "red" and "blue" don't come with one?

Hi All.

We also have a pair of Honda EU2000i's. All I have ever done was to keep some used Alumimun Foil on hand. I just put a piece under the oil fill lip and drain the Honda's with no problems at all.

No Fuss, No Mess, No parts to keep, or dirty oil items laying around that need storing.

Works great for our needs anyways. Good Luck. Happy Travels. Dan & Jill

Yeah, I'm a user of aluminum foil to make a quick spout to drain the oil too. It's simple and disposable. The refill process isn't too bad as I use one of those long necked plastic funnels. I've never measured the refill oil, but I like the idea proposed by cmarq using the measuring cup.

From 20 years + in the rental biz -the Honda, Robin, Suburu and Onan are much easier/quicker to refill using a measured amount of oil due to the way and time it takes for the refill oil to equalize crankcase volume.

I've never seen the need for such a device, though I'm sure it works fine. I put my EU2000 on the workbench, tilt it sideways and drain the oil in pan on the ground. No mess here.
