Very easy. Hardest part was getting the bumper brackets moved away so you can ron the vertical brackets.

I also updated mine as my trailer is alot smaller then the stock rating for the hitch but I tow my fathers boat as well which is also north of 13K lbs

I put the same one on my 09 F250 and was very disappointed. Using the adapter sleeve is a nuisance when using a 2" ball mount as it always slides in with the hitch leaving the pin holes not aligned. Also, the adapter is way to big for all 2" hitches out there and when the hitch is in there it's very sloppy. I've read on a few forums where people have had real wear issues when using the adapter sleeve due to it's misfit. Be careful... Also, the ratings drop when the sleeve is used so don't be impressed by it's high numbers unless you buy a 2.5" ballmount. Yes, installation was easy, but even knowing that, I let it go when I traded for my 12. I'd go another route if I was to upgrade again.....

Well I installed this today and of course forgot to photo the install process. So I snapped a shot before letting the hoist down. 17,000 lbs of trailer capable now.

Oh yeah the opening is 1.25 inches higher so time to reset all the trailer inserts.
