I have a 2010 Keystone Springdale 5th wheel with a Jensen DVD AM/FM combo. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to wire the surround sound to the TV? It only works when playing a DVD and TV is hard to hear when A/C is running.
Thanks

If there are the correct output jacks, yes.

I had a similar problem and I couldn't figure out an easy way to run the wires.

So, I bought an FM transmitter at Walmart. Plugged it into the TV (had to get a couple adapters at Radio Shack) and transmitted to the sound system on a vacant FM channel. Works good!

When we bought a TV for our RV, I made sure it had a "headphone" connection. Because our stereo had one of those aux inputs, and our RV has speakers in the front and middle of RV. We use our aux cable from our truck's connection for the iPod. Presto! We have instant surround sound!
That's another way to connect, if you have those connections.

Look to see if the TV has "audio output" jacks. And look to see if the sound system has "audio input" jacks. If yes on both counts, then all you need is a simple audio cable to connect the two.

Buy a TV with it already in it.

I just bought a new flat screen and it said it had 'virtual' surround sound. Thought ya that's gotta be a joke.

I sure don't know how they do it but it DOES project the sound so is seems like its coming from different directions like real surround sound. Drives the dogs crazy!

Have you checked all the AUX buttons on the DVD/AM/FM combo. Mine came wired already. Can't remember if it was AUX 1 or AUX 2 but one was for the TV to play through the speakers and the other plays whatever you plug into the USB jack or Audio in jack on the front of the player.

I had to go in to the TV's settings and change it in a menu to play through external speakers and it started playing through the AM/FM/DVD speakers. Can even play it on the outside speakers if I activate those. Handy if a race or ball game is on TV and I want to sit out under the awning and listen to it.
