Are there alot of families out there that camp with teenagers? If so do they enjoy spending time withe the family, or would they rather be exploring the CG with friends?

Well, having been a teenager that camped with my family...I know I was much more interested in exploring the campground looking for teenage GIRLS....rather than 'hanging' around with the family.

The only time our two teenagers went exploring in the campground was at Ft Wilderness, most of the time they just hung with us.

Rather be on their own.

If we were doing something that they wanted to do they were with us, if not they were checking out the surroundings.

A little of both!! It's according to what's happening at the camp whether they want to be there. If you are just sitting around looking at the sites, they would rather be somewhere else. If you are playing games, etc.; they would rather be there, or at least some times.

After raising five of them, I've found that teenagers are an awfully lot like adults and preteens. That is to say different from one another There really is NO way to categorize all teenagers as being ANYTHING at all. Why not ask them what THEY think?

With teenage boys, they are around whenever they need food. Otherwise they keep busy elsewhere.

Of course they need food about every 2 hours! I was amazed at the amount of food we would go through when our son had his friends over. Hide the Doritos!

We camped with my sister and her kids this past weekend. Her teenage daughter spent the entire time texting her friends. She had zero interest in being with the family. I remember being the same way, always wandering off to look for girls
