I have posted this before but since the bad weather season is here it is worth repeating. Whether in your RV or your home; if bad weather hits and you have to take shelter, time is of the essence and pets complicate things. Trying to get a cat into a carrier in the middle of the night takes time at best. A simple thing to use is a pillow case. Grab the cat, stuff them in and get out. The cat won't like it a bit but will at least be as safe as you are. It will work with small dogs also. We always keep a spare pillow case handy for our cats. Of course it won't work with our eighty pound Lab but unlike the cats she will follow me where I lead.
