Dear Marcus Lemonis;
In today’s world many people write to complain and very few to compliment. I am going to be one of the few writing to compliment a job well done by the Camping World of Syracuse New York. My experience started at the Hershey Pennsylvania show last September. I had the pleasure of meeting Ed Forget one of the salesmen. If Ed wasn’t the person he was the sale would have happened elsewhere. He was very friendly and most important, not pushy. During our negotiating I felt I could walk away without being pressured if the deal wasn’t for me. He worked very hard trying to reach the level I needed to be at to make the purchase. The experience was actually enjoyable and I walked away feeling very happy with the purchase of a new motor home. I live in New Jersey and have a Camping World 5 minutes from my house. I decided to take delivery at Camping World in Syracuse New York. The five and a half hour drive turned out to once again be another enjoyable experience. The staff and crew were just terrific and I tip my hats to them all. A lot of times once a vehicle is sold, one tends to forget or not be so concerned. Ed Forgot emailed me several times after the sale to check in and see if I had any questions or issues. What I later found even more outstanding was the service department and PDI Manager Ryan Burns. I had some issues with my coach as anyone would with a house on wheels. I wanted to have the work done at the camping world by me. To make me a happy customer Ryan made all the arrangements and I just had to show up. Some work was done there but a few issues which needed a bit more attention and Ryan asked if I could come up there to get it done. We spoke and worked out arrangements and I drove my coach to Syracuse New York. I left the coach and was returning a few weeks later to pick it up. Phone calls and emails from Ryan kept me up on things and issues were being worked out. I can’t tell you enough how Ryan had gone out of his way to make sure I was a happy customer. He did everything in his power to make sure my coach would be complete to my liking. The only time I was able to get my coach was Easter Sunday. I needed to be back home by 3:00PM for an Easter Dinner with family and left early to get the coach. I spoke with Ryan and said I’ll square away with him for work I requested on Saturday and he can leave the keys in the coach. I told Ryan I would be in Syracuse at 7:00AM that morning. Ryan insisted I call him on his cell phone when I reached Cortland New York and he would meet me to personally go over the entire coach and make sure I was happy. This guy bent over backwards for me and actually went out of his way to meet me. I don’t know of anyplace I have ever received such great service. You should stand proud knowing you have such valuable people such as Ed Forget, Ryan Burns, and the staff of Camping World Syracuse New York. I belong to several camping clubs and work where I see a lot of people. My word to them is its worth the drive for you won’t regret the experience from start to finish. You are in good hands with Camping World of Syracuse New York. I’m proud to share that with all and the fact that Camping World of Syracuse New York is a class act. I tip my hat to them and wish more businesses ran in such a matter. Thank you for your time and do hope those doing such an outstanding job get recognized.
That was a salesman going above and beyond,and on Easter Sunday too. I hope he gets some recognition for his time and effort.Once in a while you can find a good salesman,and I think you found one who actually enjoys what he does.Sounds like one who might actually be a camper and knows what it's like.
