Do you need one of those convertor boxes for your television to operate it off the atenna. Even if you have a digital LCD or LED tv?

Nope, as long as the tuner on the TV is digital.

No converter box needed....

Turn on booster for antenna
Raise antenna........aim antenna
Turn on TV
Select..'antenna' from menu
Scan for available channels via TV menu

To find which channels are within range and which direction to aim antenna......use this website (Reception Map).

Hi, with my analog 15" LCD TV I had to turn on the antenna booster, raise my antenna, and aim my antenna. When I added a converter box, I only had to turn on the antenna booster, but had to program the converter box at each location. My new 21.5" digital TV just needs the antenna booster turned on and my antenna stays in the travel position. Also my new TV does an automatic channel scan every time it is turned on.

LOL.......I once went to Topsail Campsite and I had to laugh...
there at the various pitches were all kinds of different sized free standing satellitte dishes and....I did not need to worry about my television, I just walked passed peoples RVs with a camping chair until I could see and hear my choice, then sat down to enjoy!

I go camping to camp, not watch more tele'!

Me too, but it's a nice option when the mosquitos or rain storms make you go indoors.

It is nice to see weather before going to bed and at breakfast.

Yeah..and if you FT it's an easy way to stay in touch with what's going on.

That's what so great about camping/RV'n....different strokes for different folks.

Just finished hooking up my DirecTV and my antenna to the TV so I get satellite from home and local channels via antenna when I am camping. I like to watch the news, weather and the occasional ball game after dinner and a walk.

Satellite Dish. I don't need no stinkin satellite dish. But, it's nice to get some broadcast TV. I usually pop it on when I wake in the morning to watch the weather while I have breakfast. And during a rain storm all the kids pile in the camper and watch cartoons on DVD.
