Pilot in Quarzite had the best price a couple weeks ago, about $.40 a gallon more in Blythe. AZ border was about $.10 more than Quarzite when we went through. Check gas prices at MSBN auto.

sawscjs,
If you're motoring west from Quartzsite to Cal, the Loves fuel station at the west end of Quartzsite sometimes has fairly decent prices, (depending what you think is decent now days) but, we personally will not use the Ehrenburg off ramp and or any of the fuel stations there because of the VERY, VERY long wait in lines, much of the day.
So, what we do is fuel up at the Texaco, about 8 or so miles west of Quartzsite on the north side of the freeway. It's a great big place, miles of paved area for turn-a-round, separate diesel pumps for RVs and a nice store. We've never seen it crowded as many times aw we've been to the huge RV event at Quartzsite. Each and every time we go by the Ehrenberg off ramp, you see several motorhomes, truck and campers, trucks, cars etc lined up to get fuel.
Now, maybe some of you haven't seen that but we sure have. And, unless diesel is a dollar a gallon less, it's not worth it for me to spend 1/2 hour or more, waiting in line to save whatever would be saved from the next off ramp, which, is that Texaco, heading east. Now, I'm certainly up for saving some bucks on purchasing fuel but, at the cost of the long wait etc, nope. But, it's up to you.

The better price in Quartzsite is at the Chevron in the middle of town on Main Street. We can easily get in, even when towing. They're usually about .05 cents a gallon less than the Pilot.

Loves and Pilot have the best prices in Q. Loves has the nicest facilities and is, by far, the most popular of the two. Loves is frequently pretty busy but I've never had to wait for more than one vehicle to get go-juice. The pumps are aligned perpendicular to the store so getting a long rig, like Lucy's trailer, might be a bit challenging. Never paid attention to how the Pilot's pumps are aligned. The Texaco just west of Q may seem to have similar prices but once you get in there, it's actually a cash only price; debit or credit is 10 cents higher. Prices keep going up as you approach the border and, once you cross the border, jump dramatically.
We have found the Flying J at off ramp #1 to have the cheapest prices in that area. It's the last exit before the bridge over the Colorado River...current price shown is $4.19 for diesel...Love's is $4.24 and Pilot on Main St in Q is $4.11......Dennis
