Just curios if it is any good. I searched here and only seen a few post's about it. I received an offer for a subscription for $12. Any place have a better deal ( I have seen a couple of $3.99 specials here on the forum a while back )?

I sent off for a free Magazine which I got, but probably WILL NOT subscribe after looking thru the free issues I received, it's 98% sales adds for everything folks on this board talk about daily, why would I pay for that? The pretty pictures? Maybe other issues have better articles. Others may be very happy with the magazine. I might buy a 1/2 price subscription if it came to my iPad vs. snail mail. Just my 2cents.

I get the magazine and enjoy it very much. I keep them in the trailer and read them when we are on the road or at a campsite. I enjoy the opinions, the technical questions and answers, ideas and yes, the advertisements. I find that most magazines, newsletters and other publications that have been sent to cyberspace, stay there. I don't bother to read them or only quickly glance at them and unlike the younger generation, try not to be totally hooked to these electrodes. Now, I admit I'm here and try to look at this site a couple of times a week. But if on vacation or camping, this is part of what I'm trying to get away from.

Go to library or Barnes & Noble and check it out the magazine rack.

I get my subscription when the offer is on Tanga.com and usually get one or two years fro around 3.99 per year. It always just extends my sub so I don't lose out on time.

I read and enjoy it a lot. I got a two year subscription for $4.99 and I have about a year left.

I have had it twice. 1st time not sure what I paid, but it isn't that great. Some good articles once in awhile. Heard about the special ($3.99 or there abouts)and ordered another year. For that price it's not a bad deal.

I've been a subscriber for decades and have enjoyed it over the years, especially during the winter months when my rv was a lump in the snow. The tech topics are especially good and Bob Livingstons articles are worth the price of the magazine alone. unfortunately the 10 minute tech hints has diminished in worthwhile information over the years. And remember those ads pay for the magazine. If anything, the "lap flaps" that tumble out when you open the magazine is the biggest nuisance.

I have had it for a few years now and will not expire till 2014. It has good info and tech tips, but I have noticed lately that there is a ton of advertising in it now. Don't know if they are just needing the money from the ads or if they have run out of ideas. Good info between the pages of ads.

I went to a Barnes & Noble in the Tampa area yesterday looking for RV mags, and they didn't have a single one!
