Hi there,

does anyone here know where I can find the receiver/control board for the electric jacks (Happijac) in an Apex 8 LB?

The left rear electric jack on our Outfitter quit working. Everything else works fine. I suppose it is a fuse or a wire that came off.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Joerg

Perhaps an email to Bob Ward at Outfitter would get you the answer to the location of the control board and also some suggestions on what could be causing your left rear jack to not work. On my Apex 8, the controllers is mounted inside the left rear generator storage compartment. Terry

Mine is inside the area where you access the battery box...under the dinette....along with the water pump, etc.

My controller is in the generator compartment on my Apex9.5.
It should not be here where it can be banged by the generator. Under the dinette seems better.

My controller is in the generator compartment on my Apex9.5.
It had been suggested to leave the motor engaged and manually
jog the jack back and forth to unstick it.
I had a bad motor within 6 months of new and Happijac sent me a new one and paid for return shipping.

The controllers have been located in at least two places that I know of. One is inside the dinette by the converter and the other is on the back wall of the generator storage compartment.

Another place to look for a loose wire (a two prong connector actually) is underneath the small plastic cover where the jack wires go through the camper's wall

Found it, blown 20A fuse. The jack works fine again. Receiver is under dinette next to water pump. It was a one minute fix :-)

Thanks a lot to all who helped,

Thanks a lot for the suggestions! It is raining today so I won't go out to hunt for the module. I have sent a request to Outfitter as well.

It is definitely not in the generator compartment. I will see if I find it under the seat.

The jack is unstuck. It just didn't work anymore after a 3 hour drive. We found out when we wanted to raise the camper a bit to correct the position. It had shifted a bit and in doing so turned sidewise so that one of the fastguns got very close to the bed sheetmetal.

I'll keep you all posted how it turned out.

Thanks a lot,
Joerg

Mine is in the outside storage compartment, left rear side. Underneath the cover (that is hard to get off) is where the fuses for each jack are. Don't ask me how I know!!
