Has anyone stayed at TERRIBLE'S LAKESIDE CASINO & RV RESORT? My wife and I are looking at planning a trip in Sept. and this park looked like a nice place to stay a week. There is no feedback about this park on the Good Sam website. We cannot tell that much from there website.

I love this Park in Pahrump Nevada! It has seen some issues over the past several years, maintanence wise, but the feeling within the Park is so relaxing with the Lake and lots of grassy sites. Make sure you air conditioners are up to the task if your going in Sept! With the re-organization of Terrible's Corp, a new owner has taken on the Park and Im hoping they keep it in good repair.
Ive gone many times in the past 10 years and have always had a Great time.....there Casino/bar/Restaurant could use a good remodel, but the food is still good. Have FUN!!!!!

By the time you get there, Terribles name could be part of Pahrump history. The organization that has bought it owns the Nugget also in Pahrump. They just started a contest for the naming of the all the facilities.
We stayed there last year and while we liked the discounts on food in the cafe, we stayed at a site on the lake (murky pond, a better description) and should you stay there, do not stay on the lake. There are many ducks and poop everywhere, which attracts ants, which crawl up the trees and into your rv. When I complained at the office they basically said too bad! The pool surround was chipping and falling into the pool, so the pool bottom was kinda gritty. The casino is pretty smokey. After saying all that, I would stay there again, just not on the lake and I would spray for ants right after I parked.
We stay there every Thanksgiving weekend and drive around Death Valley. We love the lake and the ducks.

Enjoyed 10 days there 2/15-25/12 on site 67 . Everything spacious, clean, campsites and casino.
We will return someday and request sites on the north side of the lake, 99 our fav.
Never mind comments about the ducks. Enjoy the wildlife.
