I actually have a 9 speaker system inside my toyhauler with exterior 12"subwoofer and 2 6x9s. I love blasting music when I am camping especially when I am at the dunes, desert or beach. If I have to deal with your stupid loud ass generator and annoying kids playing in my site then you get to hear my music......youre welcome.

We've all had those camping trips where someone does something that just goes against how we like to enjoy our trip. Its just a part of life. But I feel for you. I would have been annoyed but what can you do besides move. You make the best.

But like this camper posted, there's always the total jerk who thinks he has some super bad stereo and tries to fight back. Can't do much about them except just realize he's probably like this all the time. So you can't take it personally.

Talk to the owner and ask for your money back. Or, talk to the ranger. But before that try talking to the people. If that doesn't work a spot light going on and off in the middle of the night usually helps

As an FYI.. In some of the Provincial parks I stay in they have RF zones as in "Radio Free" zones. If you are outside of these areas you still need to adhere to the rules which include ones about "excessive noise". Violation would have you warned and then fined and finially escorted to the otherside of the gates (regardless of time) should you not adhere to the rules.. Pretty basic. Obviously private campgrounds wont have the fines but I'm sure they could still remove you or have you removed.

Lot's of grumpy old campers in here..... You reserve a spot at a CG with others 15ft from you on all sides and think YOU can dictate how everyone else behaves! It makes me wonder:
1. How often you actually enjoy yourselves
2. Why there isn't more violence at CG's

If I want peace and quiet, we have friends with land in NH that we can boondock on for free at any time. When we book in a CG, we expect to enjoy whatever the mood is in the area at that time. As long as everyone adheres to the rules on quiet hours and cutting through sites, I'm a happy camper.......

This post is FAR too reasonable. We MUST maintain an attitude of geriatric grumpiness around here. Therefore, I'm going to have to ask you both to leave. Leave now. Scat (waving my cane at you). Do it.

I believe he is trying to let us know that is where music is supposed to be heard by lots of people - not in a CG.
I think it means he's applauding (agreeing with) the quoted response. No, I'm not quoting the picture again.

Otherwise, I don't want to hear either their music or their solar panels vibrating in the wind.

Yeesh

We boondock alone so no one hears the dogs bark. (maim reason we boondock)

We are installing solar so no one has to listen to our generator run.

Now your telling me my panels will make too much noise? OMG I can't win this one. LOL

Come to think of it, the bathroom exhaust fan is pretty loud as is the AC.

Oh wait, it doesn't matter since we are alone. Crash our clearing though and I'll have to put the puppies in their tent to bark while I fire up the open frame to charge up meaning I'll have to really turn up the music to hear it over the genny running.

Honestly though, the most irritating noise is listening to the grump in the next site gnashing his teeth, pacing around and muttering that he is worried that the dogs will bark, the genny will run, he will hear our music or god forbid the panels will vibrate in the wind. (that last one is too funny)

Music or not at the campsite?

We prefer no music...peace and quiet.

No, I'm not a grumpy old fart, I enjoy peace and quiet and listening to the birds and sitting outside with a cold one enjoying a beautiful day.

Get even. I play bagpipes at 5am for those drunks that make noise.
