I listen to music at times but try to keep it quiet so it can't be heard off my site. it's not just music however that can be bothersome.. laughing, talking, generators, leaving the big DP idling for hours while you setup camp. It depends on the mood I'm in if it's gong to bother me or not.

I don't care what others do at their campsite as long as it does not impact me and I try to do the same. I do enjoy some Taichovsky, Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker and Pink Floyd from time to time but at a reasonable level.

We listen all the time. Never to loud though. No one has ever complained to us, mostly the DW just complains she can't hear the music....

I prefer my own choice of music. I don't see why I should be forced to listen to someone else's music any more than someone else should be forced to listen to mine. In fact, I'd prefer not to hear what someone was playing even if it perfectly matched my preferences. In other words, I want to decide when to listen to music instead of having someone decide for me. All that said, we do not play music outside while in any type of campground.

Sounds good to me! I wouldn't mind your music bleeding over into my campsite
For me...I don't mind it if the campground gets a little crazy on a Friday night...Bon fire, guitar playing, etc...as long as it's curtailed at a somewhat reasonable hour. Can't say that I would be in the mood to hear it 7 nights a week... It's a good thing for people to get together in the outdoors and vent a little pressure from their hectic work weeks. So long as nobody gets hurt...and everyone has a really good time.

Well a guitar is part of our gear in Mobi. But if and when it is played it is not loud enough to be heard outside of our site.
This is part of the reason we prefer BC Provincial Parks. Lots of room and bush between the sites.
Other music is kept on low and is not playing all day long.
I do not understand the people who have to pull up to an occupied site when there are lots of empty ones either.

I have noticed over the years, there isn't too many CG's that offer peace and quiet anymore. Music, kids, dogs, loud conversation, flatuance around the campfire etc. And that is just from ME.
Just kiddin. Not about the noise from others though. I have learned to adapt and enjoy my new hobby of people watching. We look forward to the peace and quiet when we winter camp. Its so quiet, you can hear the snow hit the ground.
Full timing it since July 2012 My pics
