Saw a post where they reviewed a new Taco Bell product, so thought I would stick my two cents worth in on this item.
Saw the chicken pot pies advertised on television for KFC, so thought I would give them a try.
Found that they were very good, with a nice crisp top crust only (no surrounding crust shell on these).
Portion size was very good also, one will do most just fine.
They were also served in what I thought was a very quick time, so they certainly fit in with the "fast food" label.
Good creamy sauce, lots of bits of normal pot pie items (carrots, meat, sauce, peas, etc).
All in all, I would certainly buy them again.

I had one a year or two ago when they had them out. I'll agree; wasn't too bad...and those commercials have certainy been working on me, so just might have another.

I love the KFCs also and had one in mind when I ordered a Chicken pot pie at Shoney's. It had a mushy crust and very few veggies in it. VERY poor value at $8.

Commercials certainly do work, as the companies know from experience. Guess that's why we have 8 minutes of commercials (usually 10-12 at a time) on TV for every 5 minutes of entertainment.

Second the Marie Calender. Ate a few TV/RV dinners this last trip.
This is one above the others, so far.

Are you saying that there is only a top crust and no bottom crust? That's a deal breaker for me. The bottom crust on pot pies is always a dumpling consistancy and the major part of the draw for me.
