You have my DEEPEST sympathy. Your life has changed and it's a permanent change and VERY difficult to deal with. Keep your family by your side and comfort each other and very very gradually you can regain some degree of normal.
It's been nearly two years since my wife passed and nothing has ever been the same (as good) since then. They say time heals all wounds but that is not true. Time just allows you to deal with them better but some wounds will never heal.
