You can get the XPS ribbed for $161.00 per Tire with free delivery from Discount Tire Direct. 888-459-4080

$161, ya right, wishfull thinking...

I've been searching tires and the ribs obviously are my first choice, except for their price.
The Ribs are double that price you posted of $161 on Discount Tire, I just got off the phone with them...
Tire rack has them for $299+ shipping, Discount Tire includes shipping $317...

Michelin XPS
LT245/75R16E1 120R B
$317.00each

That's Discount Tire, NOT Discount Tire Direct. Discount Tire Direct

Ya I know, just got off the phone with them, got a verbal quote of $329. They don't list the Rib on their part of the site. Same place, one is mail order, the other is the actual shops. By the time all is said and done its more or less exactly the same price... and thats almost double the posted $161

What the hell are you talking about. There is no way that Discount Tire Direct is quoting you $329.00.
Here is a quote from them on 7-15-2011:

I double checked on the 245/75-16 Michelin XPS Rib T/R and we are expecting some into our AZ distribution center early next week. The cost again is $161.00 per tire with FREE delivery.

The 235/85-16 XPS Rib T/R runs $232.00 per tire with FREE delivery and per Michelin is available for purchase. Estimated lead time to you if you order this set is 7 -10 business days.

Mounted and Balanced,
$19.99 per tire, all sizes, for installation, rubber valve & lifetime balancing. TPMS: Add $5 per tire.

So with it mounted the out the door price would be $180.99 per tire. I just sent a PM for an updated price to make sure it is still $161.00. I usually get a response within 1 day or less, and I will post it as soon as I can.

I hereby declare this thread to be run into the ground.

Sorry OP. I hope you have the info you need by now.

CLOSED

EDIT: At the OP's request, I'm reopening this until HTElectrical can respond with his price check. Not sure why we can't do that with PMs, but so be it.

Thanks for reopening the thread...

No need for anyone to come back on this thread with a 'LT tires are no good response.
Have positively decided on LT tires.
Just looking for LT Michelin XPS Rib/Bridgestone Duravis R250/BFG Commercial TA, best prices, from your real world experience.

Like everyone, I need a reliable set of tires on my TH. And this thread has helped me enormously.

Thanks too everyone that responded.

HTElectrical, waiting patiently for your reply, as I have tried your Discount Tire Direct phone number and got a $329 verbal quote. Maybe I said something wrong? Anyhow, thanks for trying to help me HTE.
Would be incredible to get Ribs for $161, as you quoted...

$70 Visa® Prepaid Card

Between April 15th and April 28th, 2012, receive a $70 Visa® Prepaid Card by mail when you purchase any set of four Michelin tires installed.
When I bought mine I was able to take advantage of a $70.00 mail in rebate offer. I will ask if this is available also.

First it was the "weight police", now the "tire police".
Can't wait for the next "best truck" or "best what ever" to buy
