We use Good Sam Mail Forwarding Service out of Pensacola, FL for our address of record. When we are moving around a lot, we will have Good Sam forward our mail to General Delivery at a small town Post Office where we will be for a couple days. I prefer a small town because it makes it easier to find the Post Office and our package. They will hold the package up to 30 days if I recall correctly.

You cannot use a P.O. Box for a domicile because a P.O. Box does not have a street address. One can rent a private mailbox (PMB) and use it as a domicile.

Been using Good Sam's Mail Service for a year even though we are just now getting ready to full-time. Their service is great - if you are somewhere for 4 or 5 days, you get on the website and fill out the form for one time mailing. They have a PO Box address and a street address you can use. It is Homeland Security compliant and there was something about the form you fill out for the Post Office that gives you address verification. I don't remember that part... they are very helpful when you call.

We also use a UPS store and just have to send them an email with the address of where to send our mail when we want it. We can also call the store and they will look over our mail and tell us what's there so we can determine if we want it or not. The Nevada DMV honors this as our address since there are a lot of rural areas in the state without addresses. When we did our change of address for our licences and registrations they told us to use the phrase "full time rv'er" in the physical address slot. So far it's been just fine.
