Our Sweet Spot is 68 MPH. At 65 if we come to a slight hill, the engine will drop out of cruise control overdrive and downshift. At 68 it takes the hill like it ain’t even there.
Most trucks have a sweet spot where the engine runs efficiently.

I run the same tires and highest posted speed limit on the Interstates in the states I tow in, (where i normally tow) NC, SC, TN, VA and WV , is 70. Some interstate speeds are 55-65. Of course secondary roads are "normally" 55-60 mph...I get my best mpg around 60 mph..I normally tow 55-62 mph. Don't arrive that much later than those towing at 65-70 and I get pretty good mpg and I believe it's also a little safer, but that's just my opinion. I'm not in any huge hurry and I've never held up traffic...
