Our Sweet Spot is 68 MPH. At 65 if we come to a slight hill, the engine will drop out of cruise control overdrive and downshift. At 68 it takes the hill like it ain’t even there.

Most trucks have a sweet spot where the engine runs efficiently.

No different. I just meant manual transmission in general. Mine just happens to be a 3 speed.

60 all the time - there's no hurry, nowhere to go and all the time in the world to get there.

65-70

I'm running G114's rated for up to 75

I run the same tires and highest posted speed limit on the Interstates in the states I tow in, (where i normally tow) NC, SC, TN, VA and WV , is 70. Some interstate speeds are 55-65. Of course secondary roads are "normally" 55-60 mph...I get my best mpg around 60 mph..I normally tow 55-62 mph. Don't arrive that much later than those towing at 65-70 and I get pretty good mpg and I believe it's also a little safer, but that's just my opinion. I'm not in any huge hurry and I've never held up traffic...

I usually set the cruise at a 100 kliks (62.4MPH). That just happens to be the sweet spot on our Dmax.

I try to keep it at 65MPH, maybe a little faster to get around some one but otherwise 65 is where we like to keep it.
