I have LT tires but drive between 62-65 for fuel mileage and the slower speed gives me a chance to peak at the scenery going by.

I used to always drive the posted speed limit up to 70mph. Then when I realized the fuel savings AND how much more relaxing it was to drive 65mph, so I've slowed to that now.
It seemed when I traveled 70mph, there was a lot more lanne changing involved therefore no as relaxing a drive. Now at 65 I can tavel in the right lane and let everyone else fly by!
Again the fuel savings is worth the very little time saved going 5 miles an hour faster and we arrived more relaxed. Phillip

65-70 until I get to Cali. Then it seems like a snails pace. I can't believe they still have that 55 limit through that big sand box in the south.

I have always TRIED to hold to the 65 MPH speed rating on my ST tires but usually end up closer to 70 MPH. I over inflate by about 5 PSI on my tires which can gain an additional 10 MPH on them (according to the Goodyear web site). I have no idea if it actually DOES help but I've never had a blowout in some 90,000 towing miles with load range C tires on my 8,000 lb. trailer.

I have ST's, but, have gone up one rating. According to the mfg I am good for 75mph at my load.

I usually drive the speed limit or close to it. 75mph is a little fast for me our here on the interstates so usually around 70.

If in traffic I will sit behind a truck. That makes for a more relaxing drive through cities.

Many of the fleet trucks are governed to something in the 60-65mph range. Easy to sit with them in the slow lane when things are crazy.

Just go with the flow of traffic or what feels comfortable to me. some times its 60 some times it 70. however if I have to pass someone I will get out and put the hammer down.

Being from CA, I'm supposed to do 55. Usually peg the CC at 60-62, which the truck likes better than 55. Outside CA I will bump it to 65-67. Fuel mileage take a big hit at more than that.

Always below the speed limit, but never faster than about 63 or 64 mph. I like my diesel engine sound at or less than 2K RPM. Also, it keeps the fuel consumption lower. And makes it easier to control the truck and trailer.

55 is our max. No hurry to get anywhere and I dont have to worry about passing. Traffic flows fine around us. Average 13 mpg towing over the last 10k towing miles. I like money and hate wasting it simply to get there 20 minutes earlier.

Within +/- 5 mph of posted speed limit so we are frequently above 65 mph out here in the West. I have to remind my DW that ST tires have a 65 mph max speed rating or she'll easily do 75 to 80 mph without my constant nagging.
