191 along the Gallatin is one of my wife's favorite roads in the west. We always spend a night in one of the pull offs in the National Forrest sections. As others have said, the road through the park is OK also.
Bear tooth, as one said, is white knuckle, but motor homes with toads do it. We did it in a 24' with no problems before we joined the class A ranks.
Can anyone comment which is the better route from West Yellowstone North to I90 with a MH and toad. Rt 191 north out of W. Yellowstone to Bozeman or through the park and out the north entrance on rt 89 to Livingston?
If you are IN West Yellowstone...I wouldnt think of any other route other than North 191...
