no, i did see the couch slide and am guessing it's the 232.
233 has 3 bunk ends, the 23B has a big U-dinette and the 236 has a long kitchen countertop, along with a sofa slideout.
since this one didn't have these, i'm guessing it's the 232.
no, you don't punch in the options that normally come with the trailer, such as oven, furnace, a/c, microwave, fridge/freezer, water heater and so on.
and nearly all hybrids come with these things in their MSRP price.

Agree it looks like a 232 and seems in pretty good condition at a glance. IMHO, that's too much to pay. If you haven't checked RV Wholesalers, suggest you do so. If they don't have one in stock or on order that suits you, you can spec it out and they will email you the price. THE PRICE is the price - no trades, no haggling, no surprises. If new is not what you're after and you like this one and feel comfortable with it's condition, I'd offer something like $7000 and be clear with them that you've done a lot of homework and feel that is reasonable. They may counter back with $8000. If you are still $ apart and can live with the $8000, ask them to toss in the Equalizer (brand name only - no knock off) and Prodigy and maybe a start-up kit. None of those things are going to cost them much, but you could benefit. You say it's been on the lot for a while, so they may be happy to move it along. Remember, they're likely paying flooring to their financing company and getting this off their books would be helpful. We have an '07 23SS and it's been trouble free and we're happy with the quality and workmanship. Good luck and hope you can work this out.
BTW, if you have a really picky friend, ask them to come and take a look with you - 4 eyes are better than 2.

This is a 232, not 23SS. Forest River published floor plans are notorious for their inaccuracy though. Last model year I can find is 2006.
The price for this trailer new-just-off-the-lot should have been in the $12,000 range (MSPR about $18,000) which means the dealer is asking nearly a new price. NADA shows a low retail of about $6900. All the stuff listed is standard, so don't add it to the base price.

There must be a ton of markup on campers. I also looked at a 19' brand new Roo. MSRP $22,156 - sale price $17,900 they said they would sell it $17,500 with wd/sway hitch I need. But...an RVdirect quote a unit optioned as close as I could get it(21,500 msrp) was $14,817 delivered to Des Moines.
Looking like a used as high markup too. Is there a rule of thumb for what one should pay for used? For new? I thought I read somewhere that you should get at least 30% off msrp of new??
The problem with "local dealers" is their business model. They can't afford to have the model you want in stock. Just browse the inventory at RVWholesalers to get an idea what high volume dealers keep in stock.
Ordering a camper this time of year can be an 8 - 12 week wait. July delivery. RVWholesalers has stock on constant order, most of it yet unsold. That's how we got ours. Was sitting on the lot at the factory and they just went and got it for us.
It's a little over 400 miles from Davenport to Lakeview OH where RVW is located. No more than a 3-day weekend, but make it 4 and it's no sweat. Cost? A couple hundred dollars in fuel and two nights at one of the local campgrounds (including a very nice state park).
The factory warrants the trailer, not the dealer. If they throw that into the buying mix I walk away.
If I decide to invest a little more and buy new, anyone successful getting local dealers to match or come close to rvdirect or rv wholesalers?
living out West, no dealers here would not even come within $4000 of RVW/RVDirect/House of Camping.

FR found other dealers in our area, that were happy to do the warranty work.
Tires are probably 7 years old and past their service life. Replace 'em. Better yet have the seller replace them. And lower the price significantly.
Places like RVWholesalers discount campers by 30% from MSRP. Since this one had an $18K MSRP it had a street price of 12K. You should pay a lot less for it.
Been sitting on the lot for a year for good reasons. Exorbitant price is one. Leak in the ceiling is probably another.
