I'm needing 6 new tires on our 28ft Fleetwood, 225/70/19.5. Cooper or Micheln? Cooper $210 per tire, Micheln $ 400 per tire. What do you think??

I think I would buy the best there is. Tires are the Most single important part of your RV to protect you and your family. I have never understood why people want to skimp on tires and buy all other kind of toys.

You decide. I know my answer.

Our 96 Southwind had Michelin tires, I replaced them with Hankook.
I think Hankook is a much better tire.
If those two are your only choice, I'd go with Cooper.

Ran Coopers on our last MH and they were great tires. They're headquartered out of Dayton, OH.

When we had the little ones like that I had Coopers on it. We had 225. 70R19.5 on the Pace Arrow and they went good. I put 245s on the front for a little more support up front.

I think I'd do a search on "tires", and see the amount of info in this forum that's already been written about the subject. Enough to fill a small-town library, I'd guess

For almost 1/2 the cost....Coopers all the way. They're as good as Michelin.

Personally, I went Hankook. Don't understand the internet love affair with Michelin, after all they are just a tire. However, there are still some that think that the more money you can spend the better off you are and that think process is generally fiction.

Coopers. Your tires will age out before they mileage out, so you don't need tires that are high dollar because they guarantee xxxxxx miles.
