Michelin did not become the largest tire manufacturer in the world by being second best.

I'm needing 6 new tires on our 28ft Fleetwood, 225/70/19.5. Cooper or Micheln? Cooper $210 per tire, Micheln $ 400 per tire. What do you think??

Forget the Mich's.

Cooper are good....Bridgestones are good..Toyo's are good...

I would rather have ten year old Chinese tires than Michelins! Cooper all the way...though I would also look into Kumho, Hankook, Kelly-Springfield...and probably Doublecoin.

If it makes your decision easier, those Michelin 225/70/19.5s are about $330 each if you buy them thru the FMCA Advantage Program.

I'm getting ready to buy the Michelin XRV 245/70R/19.5s thru that program, and they are $358 each, plus the mounting/balance/valve stem/disposal cost.

I'll bet with a bit of thought you can come with a whole list of "biggest" company that wish they could be second best.
