Thought this might interest some who just bought their unit and don't know what tranny fluid they have.

I called Allison to ask a few questions and the tech told me a test to see if you have Dexron (OK?) or TranSynd is-

A white piece of paper
Pull the dip stick
Rub the end on the paper

Deep red = Dexron
Clear to light pink = TranSynd

I had the latter.

Dexron is the name of the fluid, not Dextron.
