We have a 2006 mallard fleetwood. Tried to turn on heat last night and it was blowing cold air. Then the refrigerator would go off and try to relight. We were dry camping. It seems like the furnace was causing the fridge problem? Checked the fuse and it looked okay. Where do I start?

Dry camping? How many batteries do you have? We get one night per battery when using furnace. Mostly dead battery will cause what you describe, as will no propane.

Both appliances need good 12V DC voltage to operate controls and furnace fan.
Both appliances need good propane supply to operate when dry camping.
Even though furnace fan was running and blowing cold air it has to run fast enough to cause 'sail switch' to make up before igniter/gas valve can operate.
If you have good supply of propane.....haven't run out or forgot to valve in both tanks etc. then I would suspect your battery(s) have low voltage and need recharged.

Light all the burners on the range top. Turn on the Furnace and/or the Water heater on LP. Watch the range burners and IF they diminish or almost go out you have a defective LP regulator as long as you have ample LP in the tank. Do NOT try to adjust the regulator. It will not adjust correctly. Just replace it. Doug

Sounds like a propane supply to me as well. If there is propane in the tanks and they are turned on, the protection valve may have closed. Close the tanks (you might hear a click) and then reopen them slowly allowing the lines to pressurize.

Just a thought, higher altitude will make the propane, act different. If that isnt it, then I suspect the regulator as well.
