What do you mean by electronics outdated? The plan is to use it every summer driving cross country and holidays and whatever weekend getaway we can get. The safari is sold by a dealership. The Winnie is private party. I'll ask on the Winnie but the safari, they don't have any paperwork

In general I prefer diesel but do not underestimate the value of having a manufacturer that is still in business. At least there is a chance of getting appropriate parts. For coaches like Foretravel having a parts counter just a phone call away is very nice. I suspect this is true of Winnies as well.

They would have the old heavy vacuum tube display TV's from the factory which would need the converters to receive the new over the air channels. They may also have an older satellite dome. The rear view camera may also be an older vacuum tube display and use a camera with a cable hook-up that is no longer available for an upgrade. They may have a VCR instead of a disc player. The dash radio may have a tape player instead of a CD player.

Keep looking. Find a well cared for unit which has been properly maintained and is ready to hit the road. The new tires and window seals can be a very expensive fix and could possibly indicate maintenance is lacking or deferred. Buying used is a lot of work to find the right unit.

The asking price means absolutely nothing. What they will take as the selling price is the only one that counts.

I know the asking price means nothing and it's the selling price. But based on the asking, what should I offer if they ate asking under nada value?

how does the DP compare to this similar one listed on Ebay? I compared dozens of similar gas rigs before buying mine and still haven't seen a better buy for the money.
