How does one purchase these Australian RV Trailers here in the states.
They sure do have a handle on OFF-ROAD vehicles... They probably cost an Arm and two legs...

Actually you are referring too: Off Road Caravans(Travel Trailers) and CamperTrailers (Folding Trailers) like the Quest. There are in between types in Australia called Crossovers , like the Off Road Caravan, does not exist in the US.
Off Road Caravans, Crossovers, Camper Trailers and larger Touring Caravans{mainly paved roads) are booming in Australia. There are now 15 manufacturers who only specialise in Off Road Caravans, other Caravan manufacturers do Off Road models as well. As far as getting one in the US? I would say a CamperTrailer would be the most likely candidate(in league with a US Importer). The cost of the specialized Off Road Caravans would be prohibitive in the US, besides companies are custom builders who do want to build to diferent standards.. I know a Kedron Caravan was imported into the US and one poster on these forums was very impresed by its quality: Looking for a Kedron Trailer thread

Looking for a Kedron Travel Trailer. Saw one of these deer hunting last month in Minnesota. A family who had moved here from Australia, brought their travel trailer (or caravan as they called it) with them. The most durable and quality made RV I have ever seen. Puts any Airstream to shame. Looked around for a dealer in the US, no luck so far. Any ideas other than import from Australia?
