hello all, im currently trying to find any and all info on Instamatic refridgerators. The model i have is a IM-33 and i cannot find any info on these. I am basically trying to troubleshoot this fridge, no power on any setting (12v, 120v, or LPG)
PLEASEE im in need of a schematic at the least, or perhaps (better yet) a person who is knowledgeable so that i can voice a few questions and receive a few answers without scowering the web or bringing her in for service. (im a broke college student with a 1980 toyota mobile traveler ha)
Instamatic went out of business about 1980/81 and parts are almost impossible to find. The only part you might find is the 120 ac heating element. Your year the refer was all manual controls and the odds are IF I remember, you had 2 tstats. The LP tstat which was a "bypass" tstat and a 120 tstat which had contac points. The 12 volt section was ONLY for while driving the motorhome as there was not enough 12 volt battery power to run on 12 volt while camped. There will be NO noise at all when on 120 volts and the only noise on LP will be the flame noise on the burner. Doug
