Fairly new to RVing, and now have our first fifth wheel. My question, do all of you experience low water pressure in your shower such that it has a small spray, but also quite a bit of dripping from the shower head as well? I don't expect the spray I get at home, but I also expected a bit more than what I have. Are the shower sprays in most campers kind of crummy, or should I suspect a problem or is there a secret solution? The other oddity, I use the small sliding shut off valve near the top of the shower head when lathering up to conserve water, but when I slide it back into position to resume the water spray, it is always cold and never the same tempertutre it was when I turned it off. Can anyone shed any light on any of this?

Get an Oxygenics shower sprayer and will take care of your problem.

If you do not want to change the head, just remove it and look either at the faucet end or shower head end enlarge the hole in the washer inside. It is a flow reducer and that should help.

Are you running on the onboard water pump, or are you using the pressure from the city water connection?
Cross-connecting the water sides (having both valves open to the same water chamber behind your cutoff) is always perilous without backflow preventers - due to plumbing resistance differences between hot and cold and other such unobvious reasons, the cold water can go down the hot pipe or vice versa, thus when you reopen the cutoff valve, you get the water from both pipes again - which may actually effectively be the water from one pipe, briefly.
I think I've rambled on confusingly enough.

The oxygenics showerhead from camping world has been great for us for 6 years now.Plenty of power in the lowest pressures.

Oxygenics is the way to go, we have 2 one in the 5er and one in the S&B.

We are connected to the water sources at the camping sites, we have yet to use the fresh water tank and pump.
Thanks for the info on the alternate shower spray available, and the idea of expanding the washer. Also thnaks for the explanation about the cross connection on the water supplies, it all makes so much sense now.

Good tips, we've wondered in our new TT, too. We'll probably add it to our wish list.

Looking at the Amazon website I see that they have several types of Oxygenics shower heads. Which type are you RV'ers using, or does it matter? Thanks
