Just went to the one on Tropicana...the attendant poured oil all over the engine and put the filter on so loose I couldn't get any oil pressure on the indicater. I checked Jiffy Lube on the internet and came across JiffyLube Complaints web site, nothing to do with Jiffy Lube because there complaint form does not work, and it goes to the end of the internet with unresolved issues even from ex managers and employees. I wished I'd checked it first. Normally I change my own oil. What a mess they left me with today. Stay away from these guys is my recommendation. you tube

i stopped using JL and others like it years ago as i developed a lack of confidence in the workers. they seemed more focused on selling me windshield wiper blades and air filters than anything else. i stopped doing my own oil changes when it became a huge hassle. we have a garage i trust and they get our business.

I don't know of any Jiffy Lube stores around here, but we have MasterLube. I used to have them do my vehicles. They did good work. I never had a complaint.
In fact, the truck is overdue for an oil change, so I should go to NAPA and get the filters, Tractor Supply (or Costco) for the oil, and Master Lube for the work, just like I have always done.
It has worked for me for several years.
If it wasn't five miles away, I would take my lawn tractor to them, too!

This pretty much my story.
But, doing my own oil change isn't a hassle, I just got lazy. Is that the same thing?
Yup, not a great place, they left the filler cap off, blew oil all over the engine. It was a good thing I just drove home, and not a trip or more distance. Probably would have lost all the oil ,and the motor.

LOL...kinda! i used to do pretty much 100% of my preventative maintenance and some repairs as well. even rotated my tires one day and that was with a scissor jack, not a hydraulic model. my BIL and i both owned ford mavericks and we'd set aside a saturday to do our tune ups, oil changes, etc.
now, besided being able to afford it, i gotta find a place to take my old oil, store it somewhere until i can take it there and all kids of other excuses. yep, i got lazy!
Jiffy Lube is a wholly owned division of Penzoil and Quaker State, and those TV hidden camera stings were over 6 years ago. I couldn't find ANY recent repeats of those scams.
It appears that Jiffy Lube is trying a LOT harder, and I'm sure they'll take your complaint seriousily.
That said the OP needs to report the Jiffy Lube issues to (800) 344-6933 toll-free Hours of operations: Mon - Fri 7am - 7pm CST and Sat 8 am. Their customer service lately has been very responsive.

you can take the material to them and all they do is supply the labor? wow...haven't seen that before.
I quit going to Jiffy Lube the day they wanted to change the transmission fluid in my car (it had a standard transmission). I told 'em to go ahead to see what they did. Then I watched 'em closely to prevent the possible disaster. They didn't attempt it. At check out time, I noticed they hadn't charged me for the transmission service, so I asked why that was. That's when it got really interesting. The guy gave me some bull*** about how mine required a special tool to put the tranny fluid in through the speedo cable, and they didn't have an funnels that small. The guy said it with a straight face, too. I figured if they could lie like that, and if they thought I was THAT stupid, I needed to find a new place to change my oil.
