I'm picking up a new TT tomorrow. I am not wanting our 40+ mph winds to sand blast her so I'm looking for storage... and rather taken aback at storage prices. Anyone know of good covered storage in the Texas Panhandle that doesn't cost as much as the trailer?

Sorry I'm not any help with your question. But I'm curious what storage rates go for in Texas?
I pay 200 a month however it's indoor storage. They wash the trailer, dump the tanks and fill water and propane when ever I request it.

Holy cow that is expensive. I pay $45/month for outside storage in NC. Indoor storage starts at around $130 for a 30 ft TT in this area.

WOW... Thats crazy..

$200.00 a month? I don't have my TT financed now but I figure that the average payment is about $200.00 or so a month. No wonder you said "Anyone know of good covered storage in the Texas Panhandle that doesn't cost as much as the trailer?"

I get to keep my TT at home so I am fortunate I suppose.

Thanks!

Jeremiah

I can't help you with storage in the Panhandle, but just wanted to advise you to get a roof over that RV to protect it from our Texas sunshine which weathers RVs in no time. It does not have to be enclosed. I have a roof over mine and a nice dry ground underneath - good to keep the mould off. I pay $80 per month though, with no hookups or dump facilities - just a fenced in area with a combination lock on the gate. However that is relatively inexpensive for this area.

I pay $99 a month. It's fully enclosed with locking doors. Grant it, this storage facilty is only a wood beam with tin structure with gravel base (no concrete) and lot but it serves the purpose very well. Trailer is out of the elements and out of view from anyone else on the property. There is covered only and outside storage at this facility so I figure thieves would hit the open ones first.

It depends on the place here in Midland some can run as high as 200$ or more. Ours is covered with a cost of 610$ a year with electric to keep the battery charged. It also had a dump area.

I'm seeing anywhere from $75- per month to $150-... My payments are only $280- for 60 months. When I was in Clovis, NM, I paid $650- per year and it was fully discrete and enclosed with lights and power. When I moved over here, I put it in enclosed storage that was non-discrete at $80- per month. I was actually hoping to find discrete storage like I had in Clovis for about the same price... but it just ain't happ'nin' for me... Ratzenfratchit!
