Try priming the supply hose and see if that doesn't help...

Just went back out there. Turn the fresh water supply valve to off. Turned on the kitchen faucet, let water drain out. Took a funnel and filled the supply hose with water. Turned pump on and nothing.
Drained all the water that I could from the supply hose. Turned fresh water valve back to "on", turned pump back on, water flows!
I was starting to think that something internal broke on the valve preventing it from switching over, but the fact that I only get water when I open the fresh water supply line, pretty much debunked that theory.
Like I said, im heading out today for the w/e and have to stop on the way at the dealership to get another issue fixed. I'll just have the tech look at it.
I'll be sure to report back on his findings.
Looks like I won this week in the game of "Stump the Forum"

The pump sits on the floor under my kitchen sink. The bucket is placed on that very same floor. The only "arc" in the line is when it goes over the side of the bucket.
Shouldnt be an issue. It worked the first time like this. Just watch a dewinterizing on you tube and its the same way. My system is set up just like this (FF to about 1:40)only difference is I only have the one valve on my fresh water tank.
I feel like such an idiot!!! I knew it would turn out to be something stupid! I failed to turn the valve on the pump so it would pump from the bucket. I turned it the first time. but fro some reason I was looking right at the darn thing and not even seeing it.
Its real close to the pump and the brass fitting kind of blends right into the pump.
when I stopped at the dealership on my way out of town to get repairs done I asked the tech about it. as soon as he asked "are you turning this other valve here?" I was like OMG really????

Oh well... another lesson learned.
Oh boy!!!...It happens to the best of people...I'm glad I only have one valve to worry about
