I was looking at a new 19' today and laying on the heated mattress beds. I can totally feel the transition from the edge of the camper to the rest of the platform. It feels like I'm leaning outward too.

Is this normal?

So you are saying the bed is sloped outward? This is not normal. Check trailer then bed for levelness.

Hey Todd (tsduke03)

I suggest you first decide which floorplan you like best.

You started with a 2010 Jayco Jay Feather Ex-port 17c
Then you went for a 2005 Flagstaff Shamrock 232
And now you're looking at a new 19' Roo.

All this in three days.

I have a roo 19 and have not noticed any transition, sounds like there is something wrong going on there...

The whole thing isn't sloped, just the 6-8" transition. Sales guy is calling rep to ask about it. I've see older one that compensate for this with tha mattress.

Same here - no issues at all, no bumps.

Bed is lined up perfectly to the ledge on the trailer.

Not sure what you mean

Gee, thanks for the help. I'm looking at what is available to see and in the process I come up with questions. What difference does it make how many I look at? My question here is to find out if this is normal or not on the transition.

Your post wasn't helpful at all.

BTW, I've been looking at this over more than 3 days. My question have just been the last few days as I look at my options closer.

well, the suggestion to decide on a floorplan is a good one.
those of us that have been through the process always recommend this.

#1 priority should be which floorplan works for you. then you can worry about brand, used or new, price and so on.
deciding on a floorplan will determine what length you'll need, what will be towable for your TV and which brands make a similar floorplan.

That may be, but typical forum post. That didn't come across as a friendly recommendation to me. Felt more like an attack.
