When you are in Sevierville, do take some time to go up to Parrot Mountain as it is a really cool place that is full of exotic birds and the landscaping is excellent. Most of the birds are not in cages, just on purches, so you can pet many of them. We were there last weekend for a third visit since we discovered the place a few years back. BTW is just a few miles outside of town.

I agree with the other post. If at all possible, go to Parrot Mountain. We went last fall and it was really something to see. Been going to the Smokies for years and didn't know about it. Great place to visit and well worth the time.

We stumbled on a hidden gem the other day for Easter dinner. Look up mammas farmhouse.

Huge portions served family style. It is a block or so off the parkway near where 321 heads to Townsend.

Whenever you would like to set off, it's the good time to go there. Good luck and enjoy the trip.

I've no house in the city, just a camping tent in the wild.
