not a one night camper. I only go if I have 2 nights available. I have other things that have to get done aruond the home etc. so I just do what needs to get done and plan a 2 nighter trip later 
one night away is just not enough. for me it is more aggrevating than it would be fun. and besides I just couldn't take leaving so fast cause I would want longer relaxation.

Yes, though we are Full Timing, we do decide to take off for one or two nights, then to a different park in Thousand Trails for one or two night or Boondocking in National or State forests and BLM land...
Its sometimes how we work our way across the country. One or two nights at a time, until we get to a park where we will stay up to 21 days. When you full time, you have things down to a quick routine.
With two of us setting up or picking up, it seldom takes even 15 minutes, more likely ten or less. The only time it is longer is when I go through the routing of checking all tires for pressure, and topping them up once a week if needed. That can take me 15 minutes, lugging the tire pump around, at 82 am not moving as fast, any more. Sometimes we are heading in one direction, see a sign for a place which looks interesting, and head there instead.
Id great to be retired, been doing this since 1962, and see no end in sight.

We will go for one night. We have several nice spots minutes from home and sometimes when the chores are done we will jump in the rig and go. I will pay for an extra night so we don't have to leave early and will come home after dinner.
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

We've done it a couple of times in the year since we bought the tt. Used to do it all the time in the boat. It was a lot less hassle in the boat though, as you could 'boondock' (drop anchor) just about anywhere.

We no longer even go for just two days. My husband could drive in to work.

I usually try to go for two nights. Sometimes I stay over Sunday night and head back to work early Monday morning making it 3 night stay. If I do the one night thing it's because friends invited me over for some beer and I won't drink and drive so I will tow TT and not even unhook. Then I jump in it to sleep till morning. My TT is a great Anti-DWI device.

do it all the time we have a real nice state park just down the road and also have my trailer setup in CAMP BACKYARD... its great to just go out there and watch TV sometimes... Coffee always taste better made in a camper haha...
We will sit around a big open fire in our patio area area all the time and watch the trailers. makes us feel like we are camping I guess... Will have one going tonight for sure since the "cold" weather is suppose to be behind us now...

one night better than none...my camper is usually ready to pull out at any moment...just grab clothes and go..if I was going only for one night..i would pull thru quick fast food, grab dinner and head to campground..we only get to weekend camp..and sometimes by the time we get off work on friday and to campground..we basically only have one good day there..the main campground we use is only 10 mins from home....but a short weekend makes for a great get away..as I type this at work..my camper sets loaded and ready to roll at 530 for another weekend away...making memories that last a lifetime!

Any time we can camp, we do! 40 mins is nothing. Folks spend more money going out to dinner than it will cost you to go camping. Enjoy yourself! Besides, that's what makes life fun.
