I think it's photoshopped.

There is only one strap holding it down and that strap is behind the truck and rearward of center of the car. That strap would tend to pull the back end of the car down and out of the truck. With no strap up front pulling the front end down, the center of gravity position of the car likely being right around the tailgate area of the truck, I don't see how the car could stay in the truck without falling out backwards. Just my opinion.

I also think that, with that much weight centered behind the truck's axle, those tires, which appear to be about stock size on the 1/2-ton truck, would likely be quite bulged out and squashed down. They don't appear to be bulged at all in the pic.

It is certainly a funny, albeit scary, photo though!

If you look really close at the first pic, you will see that there is also a strap running thru the CAB of the truck that is attached to the front of the car in some manner...

I've seen this pic before too.. Can't recall where, but it was either here or the F150 forum I attend..

Wow! This is not one for the weight police but for the actual police.

We should make this a caption contest picture.

I'll go first.

I agree that it does NOT look like a Photoshop job to me. The truck even has a Michigan plate on it and the photo posted by Overdrive75 from Michigan kind of confirms that. I can see something like that happening around here!

I can't confirm this photo, but I'm quite sure that it is real. I've seen a rig like that rolling down I10 west of Houston with my own eyes. If I didn't live in the stone age (am I the only one without a smart phone??), I'd have snapped a picture.

Is it anywhere near a good idea? No way, but it goes to show you just how much abuse a modern vehicle will take without catastrophic failure, as many on this (and other) message board will have you believe.

Nice photoshop job. Been using PS for 20 years as graphic designer and that could easily be done in PS.
